I think the real problem is that the people rearranging and reformatting the data don't understand--and apparently don't care--how members use it. Where historical prices are concerned, they may have thought the old format was boring. Just a list of daily prices. So much more fun to offer summaries for various periods up to five years!

Except that the latter isn't really useful. It serves only one purpose, as far as I can see: you can check almost any penny stock, and you'll find that over five years--usually sooner--the issue has lost 99% of its value.

And by the way… In that section, there's a column for VWAP, but no numbers. Same for the full quote: there's a section for VWAP, but again, no VWAP price. That's for penny stocks. For exchange-listed issues, the VWAP price does appear. It also exists for pennies, and it would be nice to have it, rather than just $0.00.
