NSDM encouraged in Ukraine and proceeds with exploration in Manitoba

BELLINGHAM, WA, May 31 - North Star Diamonds, Inc. ( Pink Sheets = NSDM ) president and CEO, Walter Stunder, has returned from Ukraine and reports that the "Orange Revolution Government" is making a serious effort to further westernize their economy, particularly the resource industry. The Ministry of Geology is being re-organized to better serve exploration companies and the re-organization is expected to be completed within two months. Walter Stunder also had a chance to meet with the new Minister of Geology.

Upon Walter's return from Ukraine, two other areas with diamond potential were made available to North Star Diamonds. NSDM was also assured that Ukraine will be a better place for diamond exploration than previously and they may continue their exploration where they left off.

NSDM is expected to return to diamond exploration in Ukraine this fall. In the meantime, NSDM is proceeding with the diamond exploration program in Manitoba. Applications for drilling permits are now in place and Walter Stunder will be visiting the exploration area within the next week to finalize the geophysics and .../continued/
