Yep, lock those shares so they can't be shorted. I have spoken to brokers, if you don't put ur shares up for sale at even a crazy price like $1.00 or more they can let someone else use your shares in their inventory to let them short the stock. If you don't put a sell order in, ur shares are part of their inventory and can be used by someone else to short the stock.
