I think if Exon/BP/GE is to bid for CHK, BP would be the biggest one getting the approval out of the three. Now of course this is far fetch than reality, reason being, we had not seen any big companies expressing interest in buying out 'once large' but now small energy companies. If I were to take a guess why not, it may be due to Oil's instability prices and the outlook is the biggest issue. If OPEC/Non-OPEC follows through with their agreements and cut short on production to boost supply/demand and stabilizes Oil. We will see Energy sector improving and larger companies swallowing smaller companies when possible. IMO. GLTYA!
