The oral mucosa is located between the skin and the GIT muosa. I think that's why OM overlaps with cancer and dermatology.

The brilicidin OM trial is testing the effect of brilicidin on oral cavity mucosa not skin so I do not believe brilicidin om overlaps with dermatology .[.quote]
