My guess is the person who CLAIMS to have talked to GT, either did NOT talk to him or misinterpreted what he said. I could see someone asking will there be a RS and GT responding "or a buyback" which means there might be a buyback not that he is considering a RS.....WHICH HE IS NOT!!! LOL LOL LOL

Common sense would dictate that a RS is a last ditch save the company from BK measure and we are far far from using the doomsday machine.
