Online spying begins at home
Suspicious spouses are installing software on home computers to record their loved ones' online activities. Web sites including chatcheaters.com and youarethespy.com make it possible to log online chats and archive e-mails. John Mayoue, a divorce lawyer in Georgia, said, "The traditional detective hired to chase information is being replaced by software that's not terribly expensive but can give you 100 times the information." John LaSage said he started chatcheaters.com after his wife of 23 years left him to join a man she met online, the Associated Press reported.
