Here is the scoop
Apri was in violation of both the
market cap thing, 35 M, and the $1.00 stock price thing

You can not appeal if you have two violations

So they did a RS split to remove the minimum stock price violation
They are awaiting the letter from the Nasdaq regarding the market cap violation
Now with only one violation instead of two they will be able to appeal
After receiving the letter they will be listed on the potential delisting sight and be given a date for a herring to appeal the market cap deficiency
Due to the holidays we are not sure how long all of this will take
