Thanks Rue & janeverite. Much appreciated!

Rue, I actually suspect that she HAS had a couple of heart attacks. We called the ambulance for her in June, and they checked her out and then she wouldn't go. She checked out okay, but in retrospect, I think she may have had a mild heart attack then. Mom is 76. I've already recognized she may very well have to have a bypass. Just waiting to get the testing done and see what the doctor has to say. We have a great team of heart surgeons here that I'm very confident in. Thank God for the progress of technology and the advancements in the field of medicine. My Dad's already battled cancer twice, successfully (prostate and colon). Took him to MD Anderson in Houston for that though. Just waiting for now to see what the tests show and what the course of treatment will be. Mom wants to have her hair, nails, and pedicure done Friday so she can go to the Texas Ranch Roundup. LOL She's a pistol. They're gonna have a hard time keeping her down.

Thanks again! Don't want the board to be about my personal problems so if anyone else would like to express any wishes, please PM me. I DO appreciate the thoughts, but sure don't want to take up the board regarding my own personal things going on. I mean that to be taken in the BEST of ways.

God bless, and thank you all!

JJ

Last June my mom said she wasn't feeling good so dad took her to the hospitol for tests. The tests revealed she had had a heart attack and that her major veins were 99% blocked. So into the hospitol she went for more tests and an over night stay. This second round of tests were much more thorough and revealed she had actually had two heart attacks. Anyway, they did a quintuple bypass on her, today she's fine. This year she'll be 91 and still gardens.

I hope your mom is as lucky as mine was and I'll keep her my prayers!
