US could fund itself@ yr2000 levels without incomeTax! Meaning, if income tax were abolished, the gvt would still have enough revenue to fund itself at the same amount as it took to run the Federal gvt in the year 2000. I forget where I read that. But i don't recall 2000 being so bad that we could "never go back" to that level of Federal budget. So let's not go saying anything along the lines of "we need to be paying more in taxes."
