Timing of NDA announcement

Was re-reading the PR when it says "today announced that it has filed a New Drug Application (“NDA”)".
It was out early US morning on last friday; thursday was Thanksgiving, so when it was filed ? Likely wednesday.

So probably there was no way to hold announcement until today; either PR it Wednesday evening or as they did on friday morning (I'm not sure here about legal obligations should work on market disclosures).

I think the timing of the announcement is strictly realted to partnership deal closure...we will know very shortly.
