Sounds to me like PAL was in such dire straits, he didn't have much to work with. When you consider the C-Suite abandoned ship in 2012, that is a pretty good sign they didn't have the balls to do what needed to be done, after running things in the ground they knew what was coming. The fact that the company is still around, whether the prior shareholders got the shaft or not, is a sign that he did something right. The only ones to blame for the loss of value for the prior holders are the previous C-suite.
If you believe that BAA is in a similar situation, then cut any losses and lesson learned. Otherwise give him a chance to try and work his magic.
I realize that my stake here is nowhere near what most posters here have. Shoot, my full portfolio is probably smaller than some have just in this one stock, but I have not seen anything in the year and a half I've been here to make me worry. Yet....
