But as a company--viable with a future--I am afraid he squandered that chance way back when he decided selling paper was more lucrative than "thrashing" hemp flax.
Do you realize he has dumped $18,000,000 into a non working facility. And I would bet 20% of that made its way back into his pockets in one form or another.
State if the art brand new decorticator capable of 3,000 acres a year throughput is around $2,500,000 plus infrastructure. It makes no sense and certainly no money.
On a positive note I see where ASHEBORO got the nod to move forward with its seed and flour plant--and they have outside growers promising 200 acres for 2017. Bully for them.
Meanwhile this disaster remains the poster child for what not to do in business.
