The Giants seemed so primed for a letdown against a terrible, depleted team on a cold, windy day at the Meadowlands. And it all just felt so lethargic when they trailed 16-9 at halftime. A year ago … well, they know how that story would have ended. But these Giants keep rewriting the endings this year. And so the Giants "came out with the fire burning" in the second half, according to coach Ben McAdoo, and played like the contenders they keep insisting they are.
