That's understandable. Strictly IMO, that article doesn't explain SPCL correctly.

SPCL has had healthy consolidation, and the PPS increased is due to investor confidence and pending completion of the merger.

But by all means, don't invest unless your confident. At least take a look the next couple of days and read up if you get the time.
