Safebrain Systems Inc. (OTCBB:SFBR), is pleased to announce the completion of technical and manual upgrades including new firmware to the Safebrain individual sensors for a full market release. These individual sensors have been modified for optimum performance, durability and ease of use by the consumer. Safebrain prides itself on having a top tier device ready for market that measures and records mild to severe head trauma that can lead to moderate to severe concussions.
President and CEO Michael Scott said, "Our 4th generation CIA sensor and firmware are tested and ready for packaging and distribution. I feel our product is second to none in size, weight, application and usable data. Safebrain cares about bettering the quality of life for children, youths and adults in any sport they compete in and are passionate about. Our sensor will be an aid in helping people on any level potentially avoid severe complications due to unrecognized or unreported concussion symptoms."

A forceful impact to the head can lead to a concussion which is a type of traumatic brain injury or TBI, caused by a hit, blow, or jolt to the head that can change the way the brain normally functions or works. Safebrain can be deployed to analyze and monitor such impact, with a red light flashing on the device if a moderate to major impact occurs, alerting coaches, teammates or parents that an impact that requires evaluation has occurred. Recognition is a major factor with concussions as so many go unnoticed and untreated due to varying circumstances. According to Dr. Martin Mrazik, clinical Neuropsychologist and NHL/CFL concussion consultant; "The best thing we can do for players is to provide immediate evaluation." The Safebrain sensors dramatically decrease the chance of an athlete playing through a head trauma. Arizona State University Hockey Coach Greg Powers recognizes the importance of Safebrain; "I believe the Safebrain technology has the ability to change contact sports for the better. I have seen the progression of the sensor from the beginning and have witnessed actual results. Our medical staff has evaluated players because of the indication light alone, it gives myself, players, and parents piece of mind."

Key features of the Safebrain Individual G-force Impact Threshold sensor redesign are numerous but include a sleek compact sensor size, 3-Axis Gyroscope for rotation measurement, an easy read impact indication light, patented easy to read data for analyzing after an impact via computer and the capability to store an athletes entire career for monitoring and tracking any potentially harmful trauma trends possibly leading to concussions and long term negative health effects.

The Safebrain CIA sensor attaches to the back of any helmet in any sport for monitoring, recording and analyzing head trauma. The data from the impact can then be further analyzed via computer showing the g-force of the trauma and other factors for suitable and proper evaluation. The unit will be sold individually in stores, online and through our sales force. For more information or to order our product please visit the Safebrain website at http://www.safebrain.ca.
