Nope, the scanners are gone. You're thinking of the computer and software from Cinnefilm (the New Mexico lawsuit against NTEK), which is nott a film scanner, it's a video digital file clean-up system. Basically software and a COTS computer.
Harmy was shipped one of those - from Cinnefilm. NTEK din't pay for that one and for ones shipped to NTEK in California - Cinnefilm sued NTEK for that non-payment.
Those aren't The Director scanners. Those are all GONE, BABY, GONE. None of those were ever shipped to Harmy. Absolutely ZERO film scanning is going on at NTEK anymore. Nott a lttle - absolute ZERO.
BTW, Harmy doesn't work for NTEK anymore (he was never an employee, he was a CONtractor and he isn't being paid anymore). NTEK has no, and never had, a Czech subsidiary corporation which is legally necessary to have a Czech Republic domiciled employee. Czech and EU labor laws apply to Czech Republic/EU-domiciled workers and require an EU corporation to provide the legally mandated EU labor compensation and insurances for such employees - and to have a domestic (Czech/EU) corporation for the state to come after if they don't provide such compensation. NTEK never had such Czech company and hence could nott employ Harmy - he was just a CONtractor - an independent CONtractor. And his main job is teaching Englsh - ESL - in Praha and Plzen - that's how he pays rent and puts food in his belly.
One good thing about Harmy (in addition to being a Bohemian, which is itself an honor - a REAL Bohemian from Bohemia), is that he's nott hunting stocks or involved with (and CONVICTED for) illegal underage stuff like Jared, who will be a registered offender for the rest of his life. Harmy is an honorable, if slightly naive and misguided fellow. He's nott a scamster or a low-life perv. In fact, I'm told his shoes are always immaculately shined - even better than a former Major with patent leather shoes.
