So now we know Tullow, the operator, who drilled the well and has all the results reported to the Kenyan Ministry that Tarach was a dry hole. Now ERHC is not disputing that, they are just saying there were oil shows in that well which might merit further exploration in the block. So what we have is a dry hole with oil shows. That was always the most likely scenario. Anyone saying this is a discovery is ignoring the truth.

Interesting that months after drilling ERHC has only preliminary results. That is likely because ERHC is no longer getting test results because it appears they have failed to pay their share of costs.

Actually I see no discrepancy between what was reported earlier and what we heard now. They are consistent despite claims otherwise. But if I were going to believe anyone it would be the operator who has has all the results and no reason to hide anything over ERHC who has only preliminary results and has consistently hidden information and and continues to do so daily.
