It appears that despite over a month of silence and fully operational GRU in place, not much gold was actually produced. If they did produce any significant amount, it would have been stated so, maybe even with hard numbers, but instead we got the vague "operations have been producing gold" statement and a picture of some gold sprinkles at the very bottom of a small cup - sometimes I think this sort of images does more harm than good.

So the production side of the PR was weak, but I do love that the mortar is mentioned again and that we now have a dedicated IR person. And, of course, it is nice to see any update at all - at least it got us back to a bid.

Another great sign is that VFIN is still off of ask, maybe, just maybe, after years of toxic share dumping, we are done?
