PP is in a bigger hole than IMX is and also filed for BK. At least IMX has some value, PP is $400M in the hole and no way to pay 'but a fraction' of it back.

IMX did everything right (by the book)
PP did everything wrong (criminal enterprise)

PP lent crooked money to IMX, IMX had no idea. So, IMX has to pay the crooks back in full? While the crooks shaft their investors?

Bet you dollars to donuts PP gets awarded a lot less from the judge. It's pretty complex.
