NanoLogix is extremely pleased to announce receipt of notice from their London patent firm, Forresters, of patent approval in the European Union and Hong Kong for their unique and exclusively licensed petri plate plate packaging system known as the FlatPack. The FlatPack, a method of vacuum-packing of petri plates in a gaseous environment, enables long term storage of many types of petri plates at room temperature for two years or more without deterioration of the nutrient agar contained in the filled plates. Standard storage times and conditions for competitors' petri plates are normally three months in a refrigerated environment.
The intention is to register and validate the patent in every EU member nation and patent treaty affiliate in addition to Hong Kong. Following that process, NanoLogix intends to seek licencee(s) for manufacturing and marketing for the relevant geographic areas.
