Whatever technology works the best is what will be used. The envronmental laws may be changed or not enforced as rigourously as in the past. The technology of fracking itself may morph into being even more productive. The Permian Basin has been in the midst of a revolution and the big players are grabbing large positions. These will developed over a 20 year period. Those companies will use the very best technologies available. This should be a good thing for TPL, except that energy prices may stay low for an extended period of time.
