Not necessarily true, the majority of the orders coming up are retail and are manually entered by the buyer/seller, they are putting in the ten thousandths not the MMs....just like at close yesterday where people under cut each other by one ten thousandths at a time to make their order the best ask price, agree it will move better as whole cents, but it's not totally on the MMs, there used to be a time with otc you could do everything as "market" orders and you would see a lot more manipulation (down and up)
