I've gotta agree with that. I do business with five banks. My checking account's at one about five blocks from my house and the location is my primary motivation.

The others I deal with because of terms we negotiated. I was recently told to stop doing business with Northern Trust because my boss's late father had accounts confiscated due to inactivity and he was simply pissed off at them. I pointed out we are getting 2.6% yield on the MM at NT. So we're still doing our businss there. It's the market that drives these decisions, not pissed offedness.
