Thank you for being the voice of reason! I'm not sure why anyone would think that all the debt was forgiven yet they still have all their pre-bankruptcy assets. That's usually not how bankruptcy works! And if it did, heck everyone would file for bankruptcy left and right after racking up the debt.

Truth is this thing has pretty much peaked out, there's big walls being put up on the ask and people are thinking twice now before buying.
