The truth is that management never publicly disclosed the chance of success of their well. I found out only because I went to the shareholder meeting and asked. Prior to that I overestimated the chance of success. Yet some people said my number was wrong and that management never said that it was only 18.8%. But they did. Just not publicly.

My repeating of the real number was because management refused to release it and because many refused to believe it. This is just another example of management refusing to disclose material facts. Why anyone would not want to know that number and would not want it repeated over and over again is beyond me. There was no more important fact about the drilling than that. Plus, I am not into deliberate suppression of material facts to benefit myself. I leave that to others. Being open is good. Being secretive is dishonest.
