Yes, big jump on the equity side, not just the index side, toward the close.

OI in August qqq 30 puts has fallen off a bit, it's now down to 232k from over 300k, but open calls there are only 48k. Open puts at qqq 31 have risen to 211k versus calls at 138k. Then again, open calls at qqq 32 for August have risen rapidly lately to 191k, while puts there are only 85k. Seems to support your expectation of continued sideways chop through August expiration.

Most of the qqq put build up for September is at 28 and below, so far.
