It wasn't appealable thru the normal course so the Gov't is throwing a hail mary by filing the mandamus.. they're claiming this course of action is their only legal choice left and they're right.. and they're dragging a Judge's name thru the mud for no good reason.

Carney and Yank will tell you that the 81 page order wasn't well thought out. well go read it yourself and see if you come to the same conclusion..

I didn't but then again I'm bias so I'd encourage you to do your own diligence.
