General MJ stock question...

Looking at various charts of a few weed stocks it seemed like the following happened both years and wanted opinions on if you think it will happen again or act differently...

Couple of months before elections stock starts going up and up and giving 1000 percent increases...then right around election time stock peaks. After elections stock plummets...then doesn't hit rock bottom but loses alot. Around Feb stock pulls the same thing and reaches previous high around election time in March/April timeframe. Then slowly plummets down again into oblivion.

Opinions on if this will be a similar outcome this year?
