The amount of time and energy used up by a lot of folks on this message board is extraordinary imho. In my opinion, time and energy (things we each possess in the Present in each of our lives) could be better spent. There are a lot of posts regarding the legal procedural details that are ill informed. Regarding Politics, no one knows what the winning party will "do". More Idle Speculation. A lot of non-lawyers confusing their emotional bias with Fact and Law.

You can probably bet on this Folks: it's going to take a long time, there are a lot of moving parts here and the Government knows it is in the position to delay for a long time, appeals victory or no. It is in the Government's best interest (not in yours or mine btw) to delay as long as possible. There is no motivation for either of the political parties to settle this, they are taking all the profits and they are talking now about re-building some of the Capital...note that does not include returning any profits to shareholders.
