It takes time for funds to settle once you buy a security (stock).

For example, if you bought stock on "Monday", it won't technically be official until "Thursday".

So if I am correct, if you bought USMJ on Friday (Which was the last day to buy), you still need 3 business days to hold your stock for funds to be settled, so EOD Wednesday is the settlement day.
