I never said the majority of investors HERE are shorts, but yes I think it's unassailable that the majority of investors in this stock hold "short term" positions (a few days to weeks), where they intended to trade a run upwards before selling. The news, if a cash transaction would have continued the uptrend, who knows how far, because it didn't happen.
When those with short positions saw no additional momentum in the news, the consolidation of the post .0288 high became a selling pattern ( as indicated by drops below 7,14 and 21 sma, and failed moves above after). This is how market activity works, and it bears nothing in the legitimacy of the company itself.
Jan has delivered so far, if you're a long you believe he will again. If you're a short you should have been out two weeks ago. That's what happened here, shorts sold the news longs are out of powder to accumulate. Nothing more, nothing less
