I'm talking about if you hold them to the end when they're trading in the money. I agree they're wildly unpredictable with huge % spreads between bid and ask and dangerous to trade.

But when you buy the low priced options you can make multi hundred precent moves in a short period. Made 500%+ on some SLV puts during the last big silver drop and 275% on WFC puts that I should have held on to for a 2000% gain. If they are really low priced they will rapidly (nearly exponentially if they're priced low enough) run up once the strike price is crossed for either puts or calls.
