FACT, the FAA knows about Zapata since it was reported to them that this attempt at a demonstration took place WITHOUT the required approvals. Fox 4 News in Florida reported this quote from the FAA spokesperson:

"The FAA is aware of the operation and is looking into it. The device/operator did not have an FAA-issued experimental aircraft certificate, which is required for an experimental aircraft"

Yet another pink sheet so called "fact" debunked!

A couple of people here have written the FAA, asking for sactions/fines to be issued to the company if this happens again.

Let's see them get a valid permit. Unlike the pink sheet world, the FAA will want more than edited videos as proof that this is more than hype!
