The UCC wants to be paid, just as the shareholders do. Unfortunately, they are only limiting their scope to what they feel will be enough to have themselves paid off. They aren't concerned necessarily with the shareholders receiving a payout. This is why, at this point, they have limited their argument to just the Midland Basin properties, when there is so much more property and assets to consider.

The EC has to come up with an obviously larger number in order for everyone ahead of them in the lunch line to be paid first, before any distributions to shareholders are possible.

The shareholders must argue for a number substantially larger than "the fulcrum".
