The "product" from what I've read and understand is cad free.Not Cadmium or tetra pod quantum dots.I've read a lot of white papers and a cad free product that performs under stringent testing is a difficult product to make.If it was so easy all the competitors would be selling film with cad free.If they are putting out a product soon they probably want better than what's currently out there so as to match any performance increases that Samsung SUHD may get between now and next year's model.The Nanoco CEO stated they had performance issues with their product in an earlier post ( heat and optimization,cost to scale etc) and they have had many years more to develop than Quantum has.They have some pretty smart people in the labs from what I've read and as Sri commented.Probably some minimal turbulence before takeoff.Onward and upward !
