Tenchu, Intel most likely is preparing the cache revolution.

One year ago the cheapest P4 was around $110. Now it's $169.

So Intel successfully moved all entry-level and budget market to Celeron and prepared P4 for more expensive process. Now they can increase the P4 cost to manufacture without hurting margines too much.

The 2 Mb cache in P4 3.2/800 will completely trash the current P4 3.2.
