'Is the FDA preventing this 'anti-abuse' opioid from availability on pharmacy shelves to curry favor w/Big Pharma? Elite Pharma has an unassailable 'opioid' to prevent 'high' without compromising its pain-relief effect but its new drug application from last December was disapproved by the FDA after 3 successful trials. Big Pharma favored? This little known pharmaceutical located in Northvale, NJ has had great success in trials of its two part SequestOx Anti Abuse Drug. Recently, after a change in leadership at the FDA the long-awaited approval received a CRL (denial) on the basis of a 'labeling' issue having to do with a directive regarding the use of the drug after eating a 'fatty' meal. Since 'overdose' is a major killer here and abroad, one might think the FDA might move in a more timely manner, except when you take into account the presence of 'BP' (big Pharma) Pfizer, with a less efficacious drug in its class coming at a similar time which was approved. My hope is that a reporter somewhere might take on this issue...however slim that possibility might be. Thank you.'
