There was really a lot of hype on Huskies. We knew Browning and Gaskin and McClatcher and Ross were real weapons and that the defense was much improved. They looked good from the get-go but we were also playing the cupcakes. It wasn't until they got to the conference games that we realized that they really could play.

I have no idea what has happened to Stanford. With McCaffrey and a decent supporting cast they should be much better than they are. Is it a coaching problem? A motivational problem? Something's gone wrong there. As for ORE- well it's their turn for the bottom for awhile.

I felt sorry for ND and NCSU yesterday. No one should have to play football in that weather! UGH! But many cheers for NCSU.
