Let me explain how it will work.

The task force will give their recommendations in the fall. The government will table legislation in the spring. It needs to pass the House of Commons and senate for three reading each. This will take until the fall since parliament goes on break in the summer. Then there will be a date when sales go live. Most people who work in the ACMPR ( like myself) and know contacts in health Canada estimate that will be sometime in 2018.
