The "capital markets" are no longer primarily capital markets. Companies are merely trading vehicles at the mercy of all those taking their cut out of the trade, not the building and success of the business, the investment. They ought to be called the "trading markets." - esammee

I agree, and in my opinion that is part of what's wrong with this country (in addition to corrupt elections and corporations being more important than people).

In order to have a really healthy economy I would think you would need a healthy capital market to provide investment and business growth. The Fed is trying to accomplish this with manipulation instead of going to the source of the problem, a perverted capitalistic system.
