I disagree. If the IPR is dismissed, I see that as a huge boost in the eyes of those concerned, even tho I see the process as somewhat of a farce (USPTO ruling about it's own initial rulings, yeah right, no conflict there, huh?). Nevertheless, if dismissed, I think that equates to a major validation of thw patents in question, which in turn doesn't hurt the rest of the patents too much either... At that point, I would expect buying would ensue, while waiting for the lawsuits to ensue. I think also it would serve to provide a positive bias towards validity of the patents, in the eyes of the court.
