GOP Website Declares Mike Pence Debate Winner...Before Debate Begins

The official GOP website made a grand old gaffe ahead of the vice presidential debate Tuesday night -- declaring Republican candidate Mike Pence the winner before the event was scheduled to start.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the GOP [ https://gop.com/who-won-the-vice-presidential-debate/ ] announced that Mike Pence was the "clear winner" of the debate, more than an hour before ahead of the start time. The GOP [ http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/republican-party.htm ] went on to list Pence's top moments were when discussing the economy and highlighting Hillary Clinton [ http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/whitehouse/hillary-clinton.htm ]'s scandals.
"Mike Pence made the most of his opportunity to debate Hillary's VP pick Tim Kaine [ http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/tim-kaine.htm ]," the GOP wrote. The page has since been taken down.
The website announced that the "other clear winner" of the debate was someone who isn't expected to utter a word during the broadcast -- other than through his live-tweets -- Donald Trump [ http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/donald-trump.htm ].
As Trump's running mate, Pence "perfectly shared Trump's vision to make America great again" during the debate, according to the GOP.
