I think we do know something just from the time for completion of the trial. If B wasn't working at least as well as the placebo the trial would have stopped months ago. Granted, working better than ice chips is a pretty low bar, but I doubt that Leo is the type of CEO to continue spending money on a trial that was failing to show improvement in patient outcomes. There are just too many trials in the pipe that could better use limited funds than pouring them into a failing trial. Big Pharma is notorious for doing that, but those trials involve a division and a team whose interests lie in continuing trials, not ending them.
