Parachute is not even considered an "aircraft" so it's not even on this list.

I'm baffled you think FAA will allow people flying around at high speed on jet powered bikes/boards, whatever. It's an accident waiting to happen.

There's clear book of rules on various "aircraft" requirements. This thing is clearly an aircraft. Hence, if it ever becomes a product, it'll end up in a new category in this list. New category because it doesn't fit any current category.

What this all means? Many years of development, which translates to lots of money spent.

And those "luxury" rides you are talking about are all either somehow tethered or stay on the ground/water. But in any case, it's irrelevant considering the FAA hurdles. Heck, forget about FAA.... it has to be productized first LOL
