Any eyes on this stock, equates to eyes on Vuzix's products. Product sales are what drive a viable company, and sometimes an advertising budget makes perfect sense. The more people that know about an interesting product, the more chances for sales. Maybe what Vuzi is doing is using PRs about the company to generate awareness of their product. It's a changing world out there, and sometimes 5th avenue isn't the best way to advertise.
