DTCC is a clearing house. They handle most of the securities transactions in the U.S. No surprise that their affiliate Cede is the holder of record, just as GoDaddy is holder of record on my Internet domain. Tea Party types question not only their existence, but the whole Federal Reserve Board. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with any of that, just saying that there is nothing unusual in Cede being the holder of record.

Sammons strikes me as cut from the same cloth as the guy who made that You Tube video.
