You consider yourself naive for taking a claim (to have a silver bullet to cure every virus) seriously, yet you don't believe those making the claim knew it was "too good to be true?" You believe that they honestly thought they had found a cure for virtually every virus? And their only fault was their inability to execute on something that is feasible, their inability to communicate the true status of the company's progress, their "over enthusiasm" that they would and could achieve the goal of creating a cure for every virus, and not admitting it when they knew they couldn't?

Yes, you and every investor is guilty and greedy. Managment is completely fault free.
