My grandmother, may he rest in piece had several sayings, a couple of good ones:

- you get what you get and not what you want
- look up, look down, look all around. Look at my thumb, you're dumb. Look at my pinky, you're stinky.
- I just want your presence.

I looked at his damn thumb and pinky each and every time. They were big.

Henry, my biological grandfather re-married his then wife Barry. I never knew my other grandmother Ruth.

Anyway, figured I'd share too much info again.
