To my knowledge, there is no irrefutable data that proves that GMO is harmful to humans. But there has been no long term 30 year study on the cumulative effects of eating GMO foods versus non-GMO foods.

It would be incredibly expensive to conduct such a controlled study.


But it seems that common sense would suggest that altering the genetic makeup of what we ingest is more of an unknown on the long term health effects.
